Urgent Appeal: 12-Year-Old Gracie Missing in Stoke-on-Trent After Last Sighting at Retail Park
Authorities and loved ones are growing increasingly concerned for the safety of a missing 12-year-old girl who has not been seen for over 24 hours. Gracie, from the Blurton area of Stoke-on-Trent, was last seen on Sunday afternoon and efforts are now underway to locate her.
Gracie left her home at approximately 11:30am on Sunday, April 6, and was last spotted around 2:20pm on Ingestre Square — a location in the southwest part of the city, roughly three miles from Stoke-on-Trent’s centre. Her disappearance has sparked a widespread search and a heartfelt plea from Staffordshire Police.
She is described as being around 5ft tall with shoulder-length mousey brown hair. At the time she went missing, it is believed she may have been wearing black leggings paired with a leopard-print top. Her family, friends, and community members are extremely worried, especially given her young age and the time that has passed since she was last seen.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police issued the following statement:
“We need your help in finding 12-year-old Gracie from Stoke-on-Trent. She left her home in Blurton at 11:30am on Sunday, April 6, and was last seen a few hours later in the Ingestre Square area. Gracie is known to spend time in the Blurton area where many of her friends live. Any sightings, no matter how minor they may seem, could be crucial in helping us locate her and ensure she is safe.”
Ingestre Square is a busy retail and residential area that sees a fair amount of foot traffic, especially on weekends. Investigators are reviewing CCTV footage from nearby stores and speaking with anyone who may have seen her during the time she was in the area.
Members of the public are being urged to keep an eye out and report any relevant information immediately. Even the smallest detail could assist search teams in piecing together her movements on the day she disappeared.
If you have seen Gracie or have any information regarding her whereabouts, please contact Staffordshire Police via 101 or through their official website. In emergencies, always dial 999.
Gracie’s disappearance has sparked widespread concern, and her family is anxiously awaiting her return. The community is rallying together in the hopes of bringing her home safely.
