Influencer Gracie Bon Speaks Out After Facing Body Shaming During Visit to Disneyland Paris

Gracie shared that her day at the theme park was marred by body-shaming behavior from strangers. “I wanted to have fun with my siblings,” she wrote, “but our day was ruined by people making fun of the size of my body.”
She described how passersby laughed, stared, and took photos without her consent, making her feel deeply uncomfortable. “The worst part,” she added, “is that they were teaching their children to do the same. They gave me bad looks and just kept laughing.”
Addressing critics who might dismiss her experience, Gracie explained, “I know some people might think I’m exaggerating or that it’s my fault for being a big girl. But this is the body I was given. I choose to embrace every part of it.”
Despite the hurtful experience, she used the moment to call for greater empathy and respect. “Even if someone has a condition or looks different, no one deserves to be bullied for how they appear. I would never speak negatively about someone else’s body.”
She ended her message with a plea for kindness and inclusivity: “Respect is key. This should be a safe place for everyone. I wasn’t doing anything—just existing. At the end of the day, I just wanted to have fun like everyone else.”
