Heather Tom Mourns the Loss of Her Mother, Marie
Actress Heather Tom, best known for her role as Katie Logan on The Bold and the Beautiful, is mourning the loss of her mother, Marie, who passed away on Sunday at 12:20 a.m. Heather shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, honoring her mother as the “most important influence” in her life.
In an emotional message, Heather reflected on the moments she shared with her family as they said their final goodbyes to Marie. “My brother David, sister Nicholle, Michael, and I were all with her, holding her hand, kissing her face, and whispering ‘I love you,'” Heather wrote. “She was my biggest champion and my most important influence.”
Heather also shared fond memories of her mother, mentioning how Marie enjoyed toy poodles, Mexican food, margaritas, and Elvis Presley. “Any talent we have is hers,” Heather said, speaking to the deep impact her mother had on her and her family’s drive and success.
As she continues to mourn, Heather finds solace in the thought that her mother’s legacy lives on through her son. “I’ll miss her every day, but every time I look into my son’s eyes, I’ll see her there, because they are hers,” she shared.
Heather expressed her gratitude for the moments spent with her mother, saying, “I am so thankful that I was able to put my hand on her heart as she died. I will feel her hand on mine until I die too. Mama, I love you. Take it easy. You deserve it.”
