As we all know, 2025 has been a turbulent year so far, and now Japan’s own version of Baba Vanga has made a chilling prediction that things are about to get even worse.
A Japanese woman, who has gained attention for her eerily accurate future predictions, has issued a terrifying warning to her country.
Many have drawn comparisons between her and Baba Vanga, one of the world’s most famous fortune tellers.
Ryo Tatsuki, the woman in question, foresees a massive tsunami hitting in July 2025.
Tatsuki claims to have experienced vivid premonitions since the early 1980s, with many of these visions coming to her in the form of dreams.
While she initially built a career as a prominent manga artist, she gained wider recognition for documenting her dreams, which over time were seen to correspond with real-life events and tragedies.
In 1999, she released a manga titled The Future I Saw, inspired by her nightmares. The book has since gathered a new following, with readers drawing connections between her stories and real-life occurrences.
In her latest alarming warning, Tatsuki claims that the ocean south of Japan is “boiling,” which she interprets as a sign of an impending disaster.
Her dream suggests that a “mega tsunami” could be triggered by an underwater volcanic eruption.
As if that weren’t enough, she predicts that the impact zone of the disaster will be massive, spanning the Northern Mariana Islands, Japan, Taiwan, and Indonesia in a diamond-shaped pattern.
Tatsuki also reported seeing “dragon-like shapes” moving toward the area, further adding to the growing fears surrounding her vision.
Believers of her prophecies fear that these shapes might mirror visual patterns that are linked to Hawaii and other coastal areas.
While experts urge caution before jumping to conclusions or inciting fear, they acknowledge Japan’s location on the Pacific Ring of Fire and the presence of the Nankai Trough, which makes such a scenario possible.
Scientists believe that the region is vulnerable to a major earthquake, which could be followed by a tsunami. While they emphasize that there is no scientific evidence to support Tatsuki’s claims, they do agree that the area she describes is not far-fetched from a geological standpoint.
Tatsuki has previously been credited with accurately predicting major events, such as the death of Freddie Mercury in 1991, the Kobe earthquake in 1995, and the devastating 2011 tsunami in Japan. She claims to have seen these events in her dreams and documented them before they happened.
She is also said to have foreseen the Covid-19 pandemic, writing in her journal, “In 25 years, an unknown virus will emerge in 2020, peak in April, and reappear in 10 years.”
Tatsuki also made an eerie entry on August 31, 1992, writing “Diana? Died?” just five years before Princess Diana tragically passed away, leading some believers to view it as another accurate prophecy.
For the sake of Japan, many are hoping that this latest vision does not come to pass.
